WE CAN STEER THE SCREEN OF THE BOAT, NOT THE WIND...

Today we realize that change is important and even essential, if we do not want our existence will extinct like the dinosaurs. But the question is where we will start the change? The answer is simple: starting from ourselves. Yes, we will not be able to change anything except ourselves. We are able to take control of the dynamic changes in ourselves. As a simple description: Are we going to be happy or not, is totally depends on our decision! Absolutely! The situation of being happy does not because of the sunny or cloudy weather, neither TV news with their all varieties of infotainment. Not also because of the news in the newspapers, radio or internet. Starting from now on, we can be happy too if we decide and choose to be happy. That's it! Even Anthony Robin (the master of achieving personal peak performance) argues, sometimes to be happy we do not need a reason. :)
It is wise, when we are sensitive to changes outside and as soon as possible to make any necessary positive adjustment and adaptation to the situation. It is true that we have no power over the changes that occur outside ourselves, but we are in full possession to take charge of ourselves: where we will go and what would be like in the future. The wise man said: "We had no power over the wind and waves in the ocean, but we can steer the screen of our living boat toward our destination".
It is important to reflect back on the values and beliefs of our basic (core values). Are the values and beliefs still quite relevant to the context of the current period or do we need to make some adjustments to these values so that they become references of life in which they will give greater benefit to our lives and others? Changes to these values will greatly affect the pattern of thought (mind set) and mindset will determine the behavior at the practical level to our life in correlation with others and the surrounded environment.
Are we brave enough to accept the new values, if it is considered that is much better? Are we brave enough to change our old habits, if they are considered not supportive enough to our progress and development? Are we brave enough to turn around, when we realize that the way we go forwards, though it was many kilometers away, is definitely the wrong way in which we find the wrong goals too? Please give your free opinion….
